Online ClasseLearning, eLesson, online learning moduleAsynchronous training that learners interact with such as completing a knowledge check or activity that can be “tracked” or “read” by the LMS. Videos, including Power Point presentations that have been converted to narrated videos are not “online classes” in
Cornerstone, they are defined as videos.
SessionWorkshop, Classroom TrainingThe date, time and location of an Event.
Synchronous
All types of learning in which learner(s) and instructor(s) are in the same place, at the same time, in order for learning to take place. This includes in‐person classes, live online meetings when the whole class or smaller groups get together.
TranscriptTranscriptA record of all training a learner has registered for and completed.
UsersLearners ParticipantsEmployees who use the LMS as learners
