MyFiles is a web-based tool that allows faculty, staff, and students to access network drives from the web when off-campus through the VPN. You can upload, store, access and retrieve files via the Internet using only a web browser.

  1. Connect to the UNC Charlotte VPN. This FAQ shows how.
  2. Login to MyFiles with your NinerNET account.
  3. After logging into MyFiles, your session will timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity. Your session will last for 4 hours, whether your use is active or inactive. 
  4. The timer in the upper right hand corner shows how much time you have before you are prompted to login again.
