Apple Enterprise Connect is an application that keeps the Mac local computer password "synced" with your University NinerNET password

Information technology began using Apple Enterprise Connect on new Macs in May 2017 to help alleviate keychain problems. Please contact the Service Desk if you would like your Mac reimaged with the new Apple Enterprise Connect.
ON-CAMPUS: If you are using the Mac computer when connected to the University network (wired, eduroam, VPN) Apple Enterprise Connect will sync the password automatically
OFF-CAMPUS: If you are using the Mac computer when not connected to the University network (e.g. home) and you change your NinerNET password, the password will NOT sync unless you log into the VPN
